The Littlest Controller

I bought this long roll of drawing paper for Brodie a while ago. He’s not so much into drawing and only paints sporadically so I had claimed it for myself and used it for tracing sewing patterns and such. For that reason it was sitting on a chair in the kitchen when Brodie found it. He disappeared with it and asked for a pencil. And this is what he came up with. He drew a railway – with tracks and sleepers with a turning circle at the end of the track. He then played happily with it.
I’m kind of staggered that he came up with this on his own. I mentioned that he’s not so much into drawing but it just goes to prove when the activity is chosen and driven by the child they are capable of so much more than we think. Everyday he does something amazing.
